My son, Patrick, is looking for coaching for the summer. He is a university student home working for the summer. I met you a couple of years ago in Calgary at the pool in Stanley Park. I was training to go to Bejing. That all fell apart when one of my team mates and travel companions got pregnant and our whole group dropped out.
My son is very keen but his training is very scattered with large blocks of one sport and poor integration. I suggested coaching and, to my surprise, he was very keen.
Patrick is 20 and an acomplished athelete having played years of hockey as a youth and then varsity rowing at Mcgill and UVic. he started triathlon last summer and competed at Wasa. He has put a lot more training over the winter and much improved his bike and swim. He has plans to do Wasa, Edmonton and the Sooke 1/2. Would you be available to take on an athelete at your 3rd level? He goes back to Victoria in September so I would envision him joining a club in Victoria at that point. We live in Invermere so would possibley be able to come in to Calgary. He is a bright and thoughtfull indevidual who would be a pleasure to work with. He definitely likes to please and works best with positive feed back.
